1. SUN BLOCK LOTION or SUN SCREEN should be applied BEFORE and DURING your float trip or any time you are in the sun for extended periods. A good idea is to bring a large white T-shirt and put it on if you begin to sunburn. A HAT, CAP or VISOR and SUNGLASSES is also recommended.

2. SANDALS, WATER SOCKS, TENNIS SHOES, or other footwear are needed to protect against sharp objects, cuts, scrapes, and the rocky river bottom while walking to and from entry/exit points on the Guadalupe River.

3. CHILDREN should be at least five (5) years old or older and MUST be accompanied by an adult while tubing on the river. Life jackets are recommended for all children and all non swimmers and are provided on request at no charge with your tube rental. Parents & Guardians - you are responsible for your children. IMPORTANT The Guadalupe river has NO LIFE GUARDS ON DUTY and you will be on your own, use caution!

4. ATTACH & SECURE EYEWEAR to your face, head or body while tubing. Rox Tubes sells the Float Bobbers that attach to eyewear to prevent them from sinking in case they fall into the river.

5. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE OK and legal on the Guadalupe River. Anyone of legal drinking age can drink while they are tubing. NOTE: NO Public consumption of ALCOHOL before 12 noon on Sundays (STATE LAW). DRINK PLENTY OF WATER while tubing on the Guadalupe River to help prevent dehydration.

6. GLASS CONTAINERS or STYROFOAM COOLERS are NOT ALLOWED on the Guadalupe River BY LAW and will be confiscated, with possible arrest and fines. Coolers & ice chests may be checked for glass and or styrofoam at any time on the river

7. PARK ONLY in designated areas, cars in undesignated areas may be towed at the owners expense. Parking is FREE with your tube rental at Rox Tubes.

8. DO NOT TAKE ANY VALUABLES ON THE RIVER as most items do not float! You may leave your keys with us as a deposit on your tubes.

9. DO NOT LITTER! Help keep our rivers & parks beautiful. We supply mesh trash bags for your empty cans and trash with each cooler tube rental or upon request.
